My name is Nikkel Blaase. I am a 29 years old Designer from Bremen, Germany and I am working as an interaction designer in user experience at XING AG in Hamburg.

About this site

Nowadays everyone is a designer. The new media requests us constantly to make design ourselfs on the one hand. On the other hand, knowledge and design tools are so widespread on the Internet that practically everyone is able to make design. However, there are significant quality differences between the amateur and professional designers. In addition to a sense of aesthetic design and basic knowledge, working interdisciplinary especially in the digital media is very important.

Just Another Fucking Designer is representative to the large amount of amateur designers in contrast to the small amount of really good, professionally-trained designers.

What I do

I love Design! Whether it is analog or digital. But I have a special liking to digital Design and new Technologies. And I like aesthetic design in any case.

I am not a programmer in the first place. I am rather an interdisciplinary working and thinking designer, who is able to write beautiful, understandable code. But do not get the wrong idea of me as a programming guy.
